Hello! My name is Donna, the founder of Donna’s Delicious Delights LLC, and I would like to give you a little background on how it came about.

I grew up in an Italian family from South Philly. My love for baking began with my family, when I was a child. Baking was always done for the holidays and all the celebrations in between. I would always help my Mom (Antoinette), my Grandmom Bella, and my Zizi Bibie(“Aunt” in Italian) make different Italian cookies and sweet treats from our Italian traditions. Years went on, and I attended culinary school in Philadelphia.

After going to school, I had the opportunity to work side by side with my husband's father and my father-in-law John and my mother in law Maryann who owned and operated a little café in New Jersey. I always wanted to have a little café from when I was a child, I used to pretend I had a restaurant using the telephone as my cash register. How ironic is that? My husband and his family owned a café.

Working with my father in-law was a learning experience. He taught me all the ins and outs of owning a business. We were lucky enough to have my in-laws lead us down the path of owning a business. The opening of Donna’s Delicious Delights will be a great success with the help, support and love of my Husband (Anthony), my test taster’s (Anthony Jr. and Vinny) and the encouragement from my family and friends.
